Privacy Policy
This policy explains how QuovIQ Ltd collects and handles personal data through this website and its services.
Effective 13 August 2026.
Who QuovIQ is
QuovIQ Ltd is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy. QuovIQ is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17392860, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.
Questions about this policy or about personal data may be sent to privacy@quoviq.ai.
What data QuovIQ collects
QuovIQ keeps data collection to a minimum. The following may be collected:
- Contact enquiries. Where a person completes the contact form, QuovIQ receives the name, email address, and any details provided in the message.
- Applications to the expert network. Where a person applies through the Join page, QuovIQ receives an email address, a selected field of expertise, and a short written introduction. Names and other identifying details are not requested at this stage.
- Technical data. When a page loads, the hosting infrastructure and the content networks that serve fonts and styling receive the visitor internet protocol address, as a necessary part of delivering the page.
How QuovIQ uses the data
Personal data is used only to respond to the enquiry or application it relates to, to communicate with the person about it, and to keep records required for the operation of the business. QuovIQ does not use the data for advertising and does not sell personal data.
Lawful basis
QuovIQ processes contact and application data on the basis of its legitimate interest in responding to approaches made to it, and in building a professional network. Where a person volunteers information, that submission also reflects their consent to be contacted in reply. Technical data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest in operating a functioning website securely.
How long data is kept
Contact enquiries are retained for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Application data is retained while an application is under consideration and, where a person joins the network, for the duration of that relationship. Data that is no longer needed is deleted.
Who data is shared with
QuovIQ does not sell or trade personal data. Data may be handled by service providers that support the operation of the business, such as hosting and email providers, acting on QuovIQ instructions. Data may be disclosed where required by law.
Note on other services: separate products operated by QuovIQ, such as the QSynth platform, carry their own privacy information covering the data handled within them. This policy concerns the QuovIQ company website.
International transfers
Some service providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where that occurs, QuovIQ takes steps to ensure the data receives a level of protection consistent with United Kingdom data protection law.
Your rights
Under United Kingdom data protection law, individuals have the right to access their personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. These rights may be exercised by writing to privacy@quoviq.ai.
Complaints
Anyone who considers that QuovIQ has not handled their personal data properly may raise it with QuovIQ directly, and has the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the United Kingdom supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
QuovIQ may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above indicates when it was last revised.
